DESKTOP CINEMA : LASER PRINTER MOTION PICTURE FILM MAKING

LEARN TO HAND-CRAFT YOUR OWN FILM USING YOUR DESKTOP PRINTER + PRESENT YOUR FILM AT OUR SCREENING PARTY

Learn to create lo-fi cameraless animations by printing directly onto film using inkjet and laser printers!  Participants will learn about multiple techniques to print images and videos directly onto film using printers and various computer software. We’ll also cover basic shape tweens in Adobe Illustrator to add another layer of creativity and motion to your work. Participants will be given access to the printers and computers after class to create their own animations. All equipment and materials will be provided for. Additionally, MONO NO AWARE will optically print your desktop cinema original, develop and fully time print it so that you can preserve your original and have an archival exhibition copy !
