For this FREE LIVE STREAM workshop, viewers can watch and learn how to mix their own black and white film developer at home using coffee and beer. We will mix the developer, walk through the steps to reveal the latent image of your film and share the results online. Feel free to watch along and ask questions, or follow along at home! MONO NO AWARE distributes a variety of black and white still film and motion picture film stocks, AND we also have a non-toxic kit (just at beer and water!) WANT TO FOLLOW ALONG AT HOME? WE SUGGEST THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
You’ll need exposed film stock, containers to mix and hold solutions, some sort of fixing agent (either traditional fixer or salt), also developing tank or buckets in a dark room, a large space to dry the film. free from dust.
