DEVELOPING MOTION PICTURE FILM : SMALL BATCH / SPIRAL TANK!

LEARN HOW TO OBTAIN, LOAD AND USE A SPIRAL TANK TO DEVELOP SUPER 8MM AND 16MM MOVING IMAGE FILM.

For this FREE LIVE STREAM workshop, viewers can watch and learn how to load and operate a spiral developing tank in order to develop motion picture film. Feel free to watch along and ask questions, or follow along at home if you have one of your own! If you don’t have a developing tank, don’t worry we’ll discuss how to obtain a pre-fabricated tank online, OR how to 3-D print your own. The morning session will cover the UP1-A LOMO Universal Tank model in a Super 8mm configuration and the evening session will cover the LOMO 100’ 16MM tank. MONO NO AWARE maintains numerous tanks for hand development as part of our wet-lab facilities.
