SCREEN TEST 16MM FILM WITH SOUND

CAPTURE YOURSELF *OR A FRIEND ON 16MM IN MOTION WITH LIVE SOUND IN SYNC ! STAR IN YOUR OWN NY SCREEN TEST.

Star in or direct your very own Screen Test!  Learn the history behind the camera and the infamous films.  After which, we'll enter the seamless studio space at MONO NO AWARE that will be prepared for you to perform your own screen test with sound captured on B/W with the Auricon Camera.  Once complete, we'll develop the motion picture films as reversal right here in the lab. Then we’ll scan the film in 4K so you can share with friends and family + you’ll take home the archival projection ready print!

INSTRUCTION: 4 hour evening session

SUNDAY APRIL 10th from 6-10 PM

LOCATION: MONO HQ 33 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn NY 5 min walk from 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, B, D, N, Q, R, & G trains.

INCLUDES:  Studio session @ MONO NO AWARE, Auricon Camera access, 100’ of Tri-X BW 16mm FILM, access to the wet-lab, LOMO TANKS, BW reversal chemistry, safety equipment, drying rack, splicer, core, and archival can. 4K scan of finished film, and projection ready print with optical sound. THIS IS OUR FIRST RUN! SO WE’RE LIMITED TO 3 PARTICIPANTS! Films are eligible for FREE PUBLIC screening party in MAY at ANTHOLOGY FILM ARCHIVES. Premiere on the big screen in the court house cinema!
