PROJECTION BASICS FOR 16MM FIM: TABLE TOP MODELS
LEARN THE BASICS OF MOTION PICTURE PROJECTION
In this workshop participants will be introduced to the basic principles of table top projection on an EIKI SSL-O projector. Once we cover the basic functions, you'll learn about the pros and cons of different models, how to adjust image size, gauge throw distance, replace bulbs, set your reflector alignment, everything you need to know to own, maintain and operate a table top 16mm projector with confidence. After a heavy session on the EIKI SSL-O, we’ll walk through ELMO, B&H, Kodak and EIKI XENON 16mm projectors to see how functions vary from model to model. Purchase a new projector recently? Bring it to the workshop! we’ll use it as the demo for how to clean and test a newly acquired projector. A great entry into the world of independent and theatrical projection.
