SHOOT YOUR OWN B/W TITLES ON THE OXBERRY ANIMATION STAND
LEARN TO CREATE COLOR TITLES ON 16MM FILM + PRESENT YOUR FILM AT OUR SCREENING PARTY
In this workshop participants will be introduced the method of making titles using the Oxberry Animation Stand. We'll work as a group to shoot a demonstration for the method, then each individual participant will determine their settings. After settings have been identified, you’ll shoot 20’ of titles onto 16mm color film. Curriculum will cover the basics of loading ESTAR film stocks into your camera, how to conduct an exposure test, how to create static top lit titles from a printed cell. We will go over key chemical reactions, and how best to create color titles for your projected work. Everything you’ll need to know to continue the process at home or at the MONO facility. All equipment and materials will be provided. Put the finishing touches on your film with stunning COLOR TITLES! Finished projects will also be presented after the conclusion of the course at our screening party
