COLOR CORRECTION FOR MOTION PICTURE FILM ON DaVINCI RESOLVE

 JOIN US FOR AN INTRODUCTION TO COLOR CORRECTION FOR MOTION PICTURE FILM!

In this workshop, participants will learn about color's role in filmmaking and the post-production process. Using the free software DaVinci Resolve, C. will guide participants through the process of setting up a project, importing media, the Graphical User Interface (GUI), the various tools used in color correction, and how to read and assess scopes. Participants will learn basic color correction techniques such as exposure adjustment, as well as how to begin crafting a stylized "look.” Bring your own laptop with the free version of DaVinci Resolve downloaded OR request access to the software on one of the computers at the MONO learning lab.

INSTRUCTION: 1 Session four hours + 4 hours credit of studio access @ MONO NO AWARE.
