CAPTURE YOUR OWN COLOR TITLES ON THE OXBERRY ANIMATION STAND
LEARN TO CREATE TITLES ON 16MM FILM + PRESENT YOUR FILM AT OUR SCREENING PARTY
In this workshop participants will be introduced the method of making titles using the Oxberry Animation Stand. We'll work as a group to capture a demonstration for the method, then each individual participant will generate an exposure test in order to determine how to best capture their own title. After settings have been identified, you’ll capture10-20’ of titles to edit into your film. Curriculum will cover the basics of loading COLOR NEGATIVE film stocks into the animation camera, how to conduct an exposure test, how to create static backlit titles. We will go over key chemical reactions, how to mix our own ECN-II chemistry for an exposure test, everything you’ll need to know to continue the process at home or at the MONO facility. All chemicals and safety equipment will be provided. Put the finishing touches on your film with crisp titles with STUNNING FULL COLOR TITLES! Finished projects will also be presented after the conclusion of the course at our screening party at venue TBA.
