TIME LAPSE ON 16MM WITH THE USE OF THE INTERVALOMETER
Learn to capture beautiful time lapse sequences with the use of an external intervalometer and the Bolex camera. Gain a working knowledge of the equipment and the necessary math to calculate exposures. Shrink time from an entire 24 hour day into minutes or a full week. Blur fast movements into abstract light. We’ll cover the different models and options on each device necessary to capture time, lapsed. Participants will all meet to learn building the kit, how to calculate the duration of time between frames and how to expose properly. Then you will take out the kit for an entire week to execute your idea on film. A finished projection ready print, the knowledge to continue to work in this practice at home, and a list of venues to pursue for exhibition. All materials will be provided.
