PARTICIPANT WORK
Learn the roots and basic techniques of two-dimensional paper cutout animation! Students will practice the fundamentals of animation, work to storyboard paper characters for multi-plane animation, and ultimately create their own short film. We will cover a range of techniques, as well as provide information for constructing a simple animation set up in your own apartment or studio. Students will be given private access to the instructor’s animation stand to shoot their work on color 16mm film.
