PROGRAM:
Historia Natural. Songs and films by Plinio A concert presided by a movie screen. The artist presents a collection of songs and a program of films. The songs about incantations, folklore, love affairs, mythological scenes. The films about brief, simple, moments of clarity. The lament of guitar strings and the computer-generated sounds get mixed with the rattling of the projector. The films in this program have all been shot in public spaces in the city of New York, mostly at sunset, with available light, on color reversal stock. Hand processed, edited and projected on Super8.

Bio

Pablo Eguía is a filmmaker and musician based in New York. He has published the albums Lo más bien (2021) and Historia natural (2024), under the name Plinio.

The CONNECTIVITY THROUGH CINEMA series will present the work of artists, film-makers and curators who are traveling or presenting special interactive programs in-person.
