3-D STOP-MOTION PUPPET ANIMATION
LEARN TO BUILD AND ANIMATE YOUR OWN STOP-MOTION PUPPET IN 5 SESSIONS + PRESENT YOUR FILM AT OUR SCREENING PARTY
Built and animate your own 3-D stop-motion puppet! In this workshop participants will learn how to create their own stop-motion animation short on 16mm film using puppets made by hand. We will begin by constructing skeletal armatures for our puppets, then learn to choreograph movement one frame at a time. Participants will walk away with hands on experience of stop-motion puppet animation, a copy of the finished film work and the knowledge to continue to work independently. All materials will be provided for, but participants will be encouraged to develop their puppets with materials at home.
