PIXILATION ANIMATION ON 16MM

Break the laws of gravity and bend time with MONO this Fall!  This intensive workshop is designed to introduce and explore the pixilation animation technique.  The course will begin with a brief history of filmmakers using these methods along with their contemporaries. Then, after a brief instruction and demo, participants will work together to create short animation films.  The goal is to have each participant shoot and or star in their own short animated sequence. Participants will walk away with hands on experience of pixilation animation, a finished projection ready print, the knowledge to continue to work in this practice at home, and a list of venues to pursue for exhibition. All materials will be provided.
